NHBCOS was notified by UCCS and The Ent Center last Thursday afternoon that all scheduled events were being canceled. The NHBCOS Board of Directors also chose to cancel the Orchestra and Purple Mountain Clarinet Concert as well as the last two weeks of rehearsals in the Spring Semester. These are different times and the health and safety of our musicians and their families are at the top of our list of priorities.

The NHBCOS Orchestra is holding their 2019 Fall Concert on Monday, November 18, 2019, starting at 7:00 p.m. The concert, under the direction of Ingri Fowler will be at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (4720 Galley Rd, Colorado Springs) and is free. The performance will feature the NHBCOS Orchestra and Prep Orchestra, the Intermediate String Class (under the direction of Carla Scott) and young musicians from Colorado Springs Youth Symphony (CSYSA).
Our Fall Concert on Nov 24 will have a Sunday afternoon full of some of the best music ever heard at the Ent Center for the Arts.
