Concert Band

The Concert Band is our day band rehearsing Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9 – 11 am.  The concert band boasts between 40-50 members with nicely balanced instrumentation. This ensemble plays challenging, fun, pops, and classical pieces.  Members must be 18 years or older.  Sessions are held in the fall, spring and summer with a performance at the end of every session.  You’ll love this group and we encourage anyone who is available during the daytime hours to join.  Music theory is included in each rehearsal and members of the band have learned to love and expect it!  You are welcome to visit a rehearsal to determine if this is the band for you.  A brief audition may be requested to help the conductor place you in the proper chair.  

This band meets in the sanctuary of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church located at 4720 Galley Road, Colorado Springs.
