Intermediate Strings

 

This Strings group is composed of violin, viola, cello and bass instruments and plays easy music.  If you are getting started on an instrument, getting back into playing again after some time away from your instrument, or trying a new string instrument, then this ensemble is for you.  This new ensemble will begin rehearsals in the Fall of 2024 on Thursdays from 5:00-6:30pm.  You should know the D and G major scales and have basic playing skills including note names, note and rest lengths from whole note/rest to eight note/rest, and basic rhythms. Carla Scott is the director.  Rehearsals are at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church located at 4720 Galley Road, Colorado Springs, CO  80915.
