Concert Strings
Concert Strings is a string orchestra open to adults 18 and older of varied playing experience. We offer easy parts for those just getting started on their string playing journey or those who are returning to playing after taking time off, as well as the standard string parts Members should be familiar with music in the keys of D, G and C major, occasionally A and F major. We play fun, easy and challenging music to develop your playing skills and your ensemble skills all while sharing music with a group of people like yourself who enjoy making music together. Concert strings plays music in various styles from Renaissance, Baroque and Classical through modern compositions by living composers. Rehearsals for Concert Strings are held in the Fellowship Hall of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Conductor is Carla Scott.
