IndyGive! Update

FNHBCOS wants to thank everyone who participated in our recent IndyGive! campaign. We had many people in the bands donating and helping us with the fundraising - that’s why we were able to meet and exceed our goal. We raised $21,957.80 – all donated by 109 different individuals. These funds are so very important to NHBCOS to help us keep the bands operating at the level we’ve become accustomed.
Over the next 3 months we’ll be working on the application to participate in the 2018 IndyGive! campaign. It’s never a “sure thing” that we’ll be selected, but we work really hard to write a compelling application to make us irresistible to the IndyGive! selection committee. They have become a great partner with us.
If you have any interest in joining the IndyGive! team, please contact me. I’ve helped run the campaign over the past 4 years and would like to train my replacement this year. It’s a lot of fun, you meet wonderful people, and the reward is worth it when you’re able to help NHBCOS.
We already have plans in the works for the 2018 campaign. The event we held at Tap Traders was such a success last year that we’re doing it again. We’ve asked All ‘N Jazz to perform again and Tap Traders will let us use their restaurant. We’ll have “baskets” as prizes for donations and if you collected a basket last year, you know you’re getting a good deal! We’re starting now to gather items for the baskets – things like bottles of wine, wine paraphernalia, music paraphernalia, and baskets! Contact me if you’d like to make a donation for the baskets.
Once again, THANK YOU for helping us “Keep the Music Alive”
